![]() ![]() Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Must have excellent organization skills.Must be able to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.Must be able to monitor and delegate tasks effectively and efficiently.Perform other job duties as needed within the department, which include the daily work of Medical Records Clerk.Ability to be at work regularly and on time.Adjust work assignments to cover employee leave, vacancies, peak times, etc.Assist medical staff by answering inquiries and locating patient records, and retrieving requested data.Provide technical assistance to medical records staff on questions regarding forms, procedures, data, etc.Coordinate employee time sheets and employee requests.Pull schedules and make sure all charts are located and put in designated areas.Conduct chart analysis, make corrections, and coordinate record investigations.Copy and mail out requested records to insurance companies, attorney’s offices and disability companies.Serve as Medical Records Liaison for outside offices as well as other departments.Monitor chart entry for accuracy and completeness.Update Oncoemr with deceased patients only.Keep up list of all missing dictations. ![]() Assign staff duties, develop schedules and coordinate employee leave time.Evaluate employee job performance for annual reviews.Conduct department interviews hire and train new personnel.The purpose of the Medical Records Manager is to implement and maintain the Medical Records management program, as well as to oversee the employees of the Medical Records department.
